As a company that uses freelancers regularly, we always receive a variety of invoices from designers.  Some create their own in Word, while others take advantage of free invoicing applications online.  We ourselves have experimented with different invoicing applications and about a year ago settled for Mac Freelance, a great little invoicign and payment tool.  It’s basically a Mac version of Quickbooks or something similar.

Well, we just came across one of the best invoicing tools we’ve seen so far online.  The tool is called “The Invoicing Machine” and is the creation of Bombia Design.  To describe it in a few words, it’s sleek, smooth, super user friendly, efficient, and powerful.  It’s what it says it is . . . a “machine”, and if you simply take the tour through their site, you’ll be foaming at the mouth, ready to sign up.

This invoicing “machine” allows you to:

1.  Manage invoices according to client

2.  Create list items with preset pricing and details

3.  Comes with a timer that allows you to track time for project and bill accordingly

4.  Account for payments made to a specific invoice

5.  Output printable and emailable PDF files of each invoice

6.  An email feature that allows you to email the invoice to a client with a custom email message

7.  Thank you replys for paid invoices

8.  And more.

Visit http://www.invoicemachine.com and take the tour.  Let us know what you think.
